For the first time in the history of the German edition of Playboy magazine, a transgender model has featured on the cover.
Reality television star and model Giuliana Farfalla, 21, stripped off for the magazine published Thursday a week ahead of her appearance in the show "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!"
Farfalla was born in 1996 in the Breisgau region of south-western Germany on the border with France as Pascal Radermacher.
She appeared in the last series of "Germany's Next Topmodel" hosted by German supermodel Heidi Klum.
In an interview with the latest Playboy, Farfalla said that she wants to be successful as a woman, not as a transgender model. Her appearance on "Germany's Next Topmodel" was meant to encourage other transgender and transsexual people, she said.
