DJ Sbu's energy drink MoFaya is set to be exported to UK in August.
Media personality Sibusisi Leope was sacked from Metro FM last year following allegations that he was promoting MoFaya during the Metro FM Music Awards.
Following the debacle, Sbu revealed that he was broke, however he kept promoting his energy drink on social media and other platforms. He even posted images of himself selling the product on the streets of Joburg in February. Now his hard work and determination seem to be paying off.
He posted on social media that he had to make sacrifices to ensure the success of his energy drink, writing: I'm broke. More broke than I have been in a long time. I'm deep in debt. Every last cent. Drop of blood sweat tears. Emotions. Energy. Everything has been invested in #MyStartUp . Been fired. Laughed at. Called crazy & more. Are you willing to risk it all for your dream?”
Regarding the UK launch, he posted:“ FRI 05 2016 MOFAYA UK LAUNCH’ #THIXO.”
MoFaya is also available in Botswana and Swaziland.
