Kelly Osbourne has been drawing strength from the messages of support she has received from her fans since her brother Jack revealed he has multiple sclerosis.

The 'Fashion Police' star and her family have been struggling to come to terms Jack's MS diagnosis but the outpouring of love and support from people around the world has given them all hope he can deal with it.

Praising her twitter followers, Kelly wrote on the micro-blogging site: "I can't thank you all enough for your beautiful words/ support regarding my brother @MrJackO you have no idea how much it means to us!

"I can't lie reading all your lovely tweets of support not only gives me strength but brings tears to my eyes! I really love you guys! (sic)"

Jack was told he had MS - which is an autoimmune disease which affects the central nervous system through the brain and spinal cord - just two weeks after he and his fiancee Lisa Stelly welcomed their first child Pearl into the world in April.

But the 26-year-old TV star has vowed to not let the condition ruin his life and insists his new motto is "adapt and overcome".

His mother Sharon - who herself successfully beat colon cancer - revealed Jack's sisters Kelly and Aimee were finding it difficult to accept their sibling has MS.

Sharon - who is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne - said: "They look at Jack and they can't quite accept it. He'll always be action man, GI Joe ... they're finding it very difficult to take in. They don't want to treat him differently, that's the last thing he wants." - Bang Showbiz
