Beyoncé's mystery 'Lemonade' project has debuted a minute-long trailer.

The 34-year-old singer teased the "world premiere event" on Saturday and broadcasters HBO have released an extended clip featuring the 'Drunk in Love' star's voice asking a series of questions.

In the clip, which has had well over one million views already, Beyoncé says: "The past and the present merge to meet us here."

The trailer, which previews an event coming to the channel on April 23, includes a shot of the beauty with braids and a fur coat leaning against a car.

Throughout the clip , Beyoncé's voice is heard asking questions like "What are you hiding?", "Why can't you see me?" and "What am I doing, my love?"

Beyoncé has sent fans into a frenzy , with many speculating 'Lemonade' has something to do with her eagerly-anticipated sixth studio album - the follow-up to her 2013 self-titled release - or whether it is the name of an album film.

The first single from the record, 'Formation', was released in February when she premiered it at the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, where she also performed with her 'Hymn For The Weekend' collaborators Coldplay.

Shortly after Beyoncé - who has four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with her husband Jay Z - announced the dates for her 'The Formation World Tour'.

The HBO event will take place four days before her tour kicks off on April 27, with 22 concerts in North America and 15 in Europe.

It will be the 'Crazy in Love' hitmaker's first solo tour since the 'Mrs. Carter Show' tour in 2013.
