Legendary rapper Snoop Dogg was one of many prominent figures to call out Kanye for his statement that 'slavery was a choice' in a hilarious reaction video.

This came after Kanye West appeared on TMZ live last week and proclaimed that "When you hear about slavery for 400 years ... For 400 years? That sounds like a choice". He also endorsed President Donald Trump the week before.

Kanye comments also birthed the #IfSlaveryWasAChoice trend, and many prominent African American celebrities voiced their displeasure on social media and other platforms. Fellow musician will.I.am said, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Kanye's comment "broke his heart".

Snoop Dogg shared his take on the matter in a both hilarious and poignant video, saying the rapper needs help and real black women in his life.

Snoop Dogg also posted a picture of a photoshopped "white Kanye", stripping him of melanin.

This is, however, not the first time Snoop has called out Kanye.

The rapper previously posed a video in reaction to one of Kanye's onstage rants about Beyoncé, Jay Z and Hillary Clinton in 2016, calling him a “weird motherf***er… talking weird a** s**t”.
