London - Jared Leto and Ellen Page have been named Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities by PETA.
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' actor picked up the animal rights organisation's male prize ahead of fellow non-meat eaters Joaquin Phoenix, Samuel L. Jackson, Peter Dinklage and Woody Harrelson, while the 'Juno' star triumphed ahead of Ariana Grande, Jessica Paré, Laura Prepon and Sarah Silverman, E! News reports.
Jared, 42, has previously credited his vegetarian diet for his youthful looks.
Asked how he stays so young looking, he said: "I'm pretty healthy so I think that helps a lot. I've been that way for a long time - 20 solid years of eating vegetarian/vegan and taking care of myself."
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Ellen has also spoken out to slam critics of vegans.
She previously tweeted: "Why are vegans made fun of while the inhumane factory farming process regards animals and the natural world merely as commodities to be exploited for profit?"
Jared and Ellen follow in the footsteps of the likes of Leona Lewis, Russell Brand, Kristen Wiig, Olivia Wilde, Natalie Portman and Carrie Underwood in receiving the titles from PETA. - BANG Showbiz
