South African actors, Kim Engelbrecht and Neil Sandilands, have been cast for upcoming season of 'The Flash', which is set to premiere in October.

It was announced during the 2017 San Diego Comic-Con that Sandilands will star as Clifford Devoe (The Thinker) and Engelbrecht will be taking on the role of The Mechanic.

The weekend also featured DC showing a trailer for the new season of 'The Flash' during their Hall H panel, a trailer for the new season of Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, a new Justice League trailer and footage from the upcoming Aquaman movie.

DC also gave their full line up of their upcoming films which include: 'Suicide Squad 2', 'The Batman', 'Shazam', 'Justice League Dark', 'Flashpoint', 'Wonder Woman 2', 'Green Lantern Corps' and 'Batgirl'.

During the Hall H panel, Ben Affleck also squashed rumours of him leaving the role of Batman saying: "Batman is the coolest f****** part in any universe, DC (or) Marvel. I’m so thrilled to do it.”

On the animation side, they also debuted new character designs for the new season of 'Young Justice: Outsiders'.
