Rapper AKA and Bonang Matheba's former relationship took centre stage during the premiere of the second season of the TV personality's reality show 'Being Bonang' on Friday.

Before its broadcast, Bonang said that she decided to sign up for another season to "give her fans what they want".

Following Bonang's split from rapper AKA in December 2017, Mzansi was hoping for any morsel of information about the break-up, and Matheba was on cue.

During the first episode of season 2, Queen B hangs out with bestie Lorna Maseko who wanted to be kept in the loop on how single life was treating Mathabe.

The starlet explained that life was good — o gal's been busy globetrotting for work and play — although being single felt "weird" because she had all this "time" on her hands.

Just when we thought B was getting sentimental, she went for the jugular, and threw massive shade at the 'Star Signs' hitmaker.

"What if I never find a decent guy and I fall in love with another musician? You know everyone has a type."

Alas, AKA — who's known for many things, voicing his opinion being one of them — pulled receipts on his spicy ex by sub-tweeting her 2016 post where she wrote: " ...they have to talk about you. Because when they talk about themselves, nobody listens".

....they have to talk about you. Because when they talk about themselves, nobody listens.

His clap back was so on point that it left Mzansi floored. Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "They have to talk about you because when they talk about themselves, no one listens .... DAMN. How the tables have turned."

And Black Twitter, with zero chill, lapped up the 'scorned lover' flames. Here are some of their responses:

But you talked about your break up on real talk and she never said anything shady about that

, she owes her fans an explanation let her be

But he said, ' I would be less of man if I talked about the breakup.' Then he said they still loved each other and that he didn't shade her.
