It's official, DJ Black Coffee is the Best Deep House disc jockey in the world — for the second time!

The local DJ bagged the Best Deep House DJ title at the 2017 DJ Awards (Electronic Music Awards) held in Ibiza on Tuesday night,  beating the likes of Bedouin, Damian Lazarus, Matthia Meyer, Maya Jane Coles, Patrice Baumel, Lee Foss and Lee Burridge.

Other jocks who were awarded include: veteran deejays Carl Cox (Best Techno DJ), HARDWELL (International DJ, Big Groom House), Armin van Buuren (Best Trance DJ), among others.

Black Coffee took to social media to thank fans for the continued support. He wrote: "One more for the culture. Thank you for the votes, love and continued support."

This is the third times the world-renowned deejay has won at the prestigious event. He previously won Breakthrough DJ of the Year and Dance Nation of the Year trophies at the 2015 edition of the awards.

The international award ceremony, which aims to celebrate and unite deejays, industry professionals and media together at the end of the Ibiza summer season, celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.
