TV presenter Bonang Matheba announced on her Instagram page that she was on her way to London, to host the centenary dinner, which is set to take place at the Rosewood Hotel on Tuesday night.
The 'Being Bonang' star posted a pic on Instagram being seated in business class aboard an Emirates flight, wearing gold Chanel shoes with the caption: "*arm all doors and cross check*...#passportgang #GGGMandela18".
"Celebrating Madiba on such a global scale fills my heart with so much joy. I am beyond honoured to be part of an evening of hope," Matheba said.

The Global Gift Nelson Mandela Centenary Dinner is aimed at celebrating the centenary year of Nelson Mandela's birth, as well as his spirit of being a humanitarian and a philanthropist.
Known as one of London's most extravagant charity dinners, it is not Matheba's first time at the event, as she had previously attended it last year as a guest alongside honourary chair and actress Eva Longoria.
The gala dinner is set to feature an appearance by actress and co-chair Vanessa Williams, actress Pamela Anderson, with English singer Beverley Knight set to perform.
