Local rapper Cassper Nyovest and his former stylist Didi Simelane have mended fences following a public spat over unpaid services rendered.

In case you missed it, the 'Destiny' rapper was caught in a dispute with his former stylist Didi Simelane who claimed that Nyovest owed him R60 000 for services rendered.

This included the concept for the #FillUpFNBStadium concert, along with the styling for the "Tito Mboweni" and "Baby Girl" music videos as well as a Family Tree store shoot.

Simelane then shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation between him and the rapper to prove that he was owed money with Nyovest claiming he was going through a financial "rough patch", Even though the rapper also posted a picture of him flexing a R450k diamond-crusted Audemars Piguet watch.

It now seems that they have patched things up with Nyovest posting a tweet on Thursday saying that Simelane sent him a "personal message" to apologise for the social media rant. Simelane also posted a public apology on Twitter.

Nyovest also mentioned that they are busy working things out.

Didi sent me a personal message apologizing and he also apologized in public and we gone figure it out. It takes a strong character to say I’m sorry and I respect that. Especially cause he apologized in public after whylling out in public. Love wins. God bless is all. ❤️
