DJ Tira has come to the defence of his wife Gugu Khathi after she faced backlash when the camera was on her at the SAMAs and she was clearly unimpressed by a joke made by the hosts.
A video of Gugu's reaction after SAMAs hosts, Somizi, Mpho Popps and Dineo Ranaka made a joke about Mabala Noise during the awards ceremony on Saturday started doing the rounds on social media.

An while most people agreed with her reaction, however, there were some tweeples that did not appreciate her facial expression.
One of these unhappy Twitter users were @IamLucent_SA who jumped into DJ Tira's mentions telling him to "tell your wife that here we don't do that" in response to Gugu's reaction.

DJ Tira then replied to the tweet stating that "she didn't like the 'rest in peace Mabala Entertainment' joke. She is a great person who doesn't appreciate negative vibes. Must we be laughing at Mabala now that they not focusing on music?"
