Local rapper Emtee has given up drugs and alcohol following him fainting during a show last month - shortly after his return to social media.
The 'Plug' rapper previously publicly proclaimed that he would not give up lean but it seems that he has had a change of heart following a video of him collapsing on stage went viral.
Taking to Twitter the rapper declared that he was clean and sober from all narcotics and is happy for the support he has received.

The rapper has never claimed to have a drug or alcohol abuse problem and refuted the claims that he was high or drunk during the show he fainted.
"I was probably tired or something but I wasn’t intoxicated with anything, it's not a case of me being high or not, and if someone says I was high, drunk or whatever, how do they know that when they were not there?"
