Babes Wodumo will not attend the MTV European Music Awards in London tomorrow, the Sunday Tribune revealed on Friday.

According to reports, sources close to Babes revealed that despite her having a visa, the record company expected the organisers to fund the trip, which was not the case.

Babes is a nominee for MTV European Music Award in the Best African category, along side local rapper Nasty C, Nigeria’s Wizkid and Davido, Angola’s C4 Pedro and Kenya’s Nyashinski.

This is not the first time Babes missed out on an international award show.

In June, Babes was unable to attend the BET Awards in the US where she had been nominated for an award after her team failed to sort out her travel visa documents in time.

Following the news of her second awards show blunder, the self-proclaimed Gqom Queen's fans have called for her manager's head, with many saying she should dump him if she's serious about her career.

One Twitter user wrote: "All these non-attendences to flagship award ceremonies can't be good for Babes. I hope whatever/whoever is standing in her way stops the BS and let's her do her thing, before it's too late. (sic)
