Local rapper Jabulani "Jabba" Tsambo, who passed away on Wednesday, will be laid to rest in his hometown of Mahikeng this week.

 Two memorial services are also scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday.

In a statement released by the Tsambo family, the rapper will be remembered with a memorial service in Johannesburg on Tuesday at Newtown Music Factory at 12pm and another in Mmabatho, Mahikeng at the Mmabatho Convention Centre on Thursday at 12pm. 

The 38-year-old rapper's funeral is set to take place on Saturday, 3 November at the Mmabatho Convention Centre. 

Jabba's family also thanked everyone for the support received during "this difficult time". 

"The Tsambo family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude for all the messages of condolences and for all the love and support received during this difficult time," read part of the statement.

HHP's cause of death is yet to be revealed. However, his sudden death has sparked a discussion about depression on social media.
