If you were excited to watch the music video for the Distruction Boyz song 'Omunye' then you're going to have to wait a bit longer.

Posting on their Facebook page, the Gqom producers said the reason for the delay is due to Khanyi Mbau complaining that her complexion was "too dark" in the current edit.

Furthermore, they state that Mbau feels that the current edit "does not represent her looks accordingly" and that this is in conflict with the "brands that sponsor her looks".

They added that they "respect her decision" and that they know that her brand is very important to her.

Speaking to  TshisaLIVE , Mbau said that she requested a small edit and it wasn't as substantial as Distruction Boyz are making it out to be.

"Distruction Boyz took this too far. I just said I'd like a better edit. I'll see the new edit today and we can all decide way forward," Mbau explained.

"I'm shooting a movie so I couldn't be available all the time so I think the boys thought I was being a drama queen, meanwhile it wasn't even that deep."
