Maps Maponyane and Somizi booked on same flight

Maps Maponyane and Somizi Mhlongo were both in the US recently but their paths only crossed thousands of kilometres in the sky.

Maps was in New York documenting all of the weird sights and sounds of the cultural hub, while Somizi was in Los Angles to cover the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet.

The Idols SA judge took to social media to share a pic of the two of them aboard a flight while en route to South Africa. Somizi wrote: "This cud be a perfect baecation but @mmaponyane ur busy with nomTry. (sic)."

Meanwhile, Maps couldn't resist sharing a snap of the meal he was enjoying in business while watching what seems to be a movie. He wrote:  "That obligatory meal in the sky shot."

Went shopping today on rodeo drive. Every shop I walked into I got the same question and compliment. Wow very nice denim dungarees. Who's the designer. I proudly answered. It's a South African brand by young men. It's called @afrikanswiss the new kings of denim.
