Local presenter and actress Nomzamo Mbatha posted an innocent picture on Twitter of herself during a quick visit in Cape Town when a troll jumped into her mentions with a nasty comment.

The "Isibaya" actress usually ignores the negativity on her timeline, but every now and then she responds when people come for her personal life.

This time, it was after a troll decided to comment on her love life: "heard you got dumped/ cheated on this year (sic)" the Twitter user wrote.

Mbatha then replied: "I think people are allowed to do what they want to do, we all have freedom of choice. However, it is NEVER an invalidation of who I am and what I have to offer in this life. Still winning", followed by a heart emoji.

Her "buddy", Maps Maponyane, also jumped to defend his "friend" while dragging the troll at the same time saying:

"Heard you just use pictures of your hairline whenever you post throwbacks. Stop trying to find your own self-worth by trying to put other people who are perfectly happy with their own lives, down; especially people you know absolutely NOTHING about. You odious bigot. Blessings".
