Pearl Modiadie on those pregnancy tweets: 'It’s insensitive and rude to simply assume'
Local TV presenter and actress Pearl Modiadie has had enough of the pregnancy rumours. In fact, she's just about fed up.
Twitter investigators were quick to jump to conclusions when the 31-year-old posted a picture of herself at the zoo showing a bit of her belly. In our opinion, it looks like any other tummy.

To others though, it looked like the 'Zaziwa' host was cooking something up in her "oven". The comments came in thick and fast.

This prompted Modiadie to post another comment in response to all the pregnancy questions.
Wait for someone to make a pregnancy announcement before you start congratulating them.— Pearl Modiadie (@PearlModiadie) December 23, 2019
There are health conditions that can make women appear to be ‘pregnant’! It’s insensitive and rude to simply assume they are just from their appearance.
Even fellow actress Terry Pheto came to her defence by posting: "Babe, I've been 'pregnant' for two years now."
Babe, I’ve been “pregnant” for two years now. I’ve stopped correcting people. It’s insensitive and tiring... if only they knew what most women go through with fertility issues 😔— Terry Pheto (@TerryPheto) December 23, 2019
By the sounds of her response, Modiadie has obviously had enough. Hopefully, it's shut down the rumour mill once and for all.
...and you can’t explain everything to everyone. There actually shouldn’t be a need to! Urgh, it’s so tiring!— Pearl Modiadie (@PearlModiadie) December 23, 2019
❤️ to you babe!
