Somizi to drop SAMAs hosting mic

Local entertainer Somizi has announced that this will be the last time he graces the stage as host of the South African Music Awards (SAMAs).

Taking place at Sun City on 2 June, Somizi is planning to go out with a bang and will be slaying is way through the awards show.

Posting on his Instagram page, Somizi says that he has enjoyed hosting the SAMAs and for this year's ceremony he'll be serving us in style, with a series of hairstyles, makeup art, seven outfits from local designers, and — of course — his Christian Louboutin red bottom shoes.

The 'Idols SA' judge even joked that his opening hairstyle will bring the land back.

This year is definitely my last time hosting. I did it the first time with @thando_thabethe second time with @tumi_morake both I had an awesome time and promised I’m done.
