Radio DJ Thando Thabethe took to Twitter to share a tale of how scammers tried to get money out of her.
In the several tweets Thando Thabethe explains how the a man claiming to be Free State premier Ace Magashule called her manager and needed to speak to her directly.
Thando then called him back and the scammer then claim that there was a girl stranded who needed petrol money that she must e-wallet to him.
She then questions why a premier would what her to send him money.

In her final tweet she warns her followers to be weary of scammers and to be vigilant.
Anyway be careful out there...this also makes it so hard to discern the fake from the ppl who really need assistance
