The Daily Show host  Trevor Noah has been a media darling since he took over the prestigious hosting gig on the late night talk show. 

And Trevor is making more waves after TIME magazine unveiled that their 100 most influential list — and he made the cut.

TIME magazine revealed their most influential people for 2018 on Thursday with international 'Girls Trip' comedian and actress Tiffinay Haddish gracing the cover of the magazine. 

The well-known publication enlists guest writers for this annual issue and 'Black Panther' star Lupita Nyong'o was tasked with the job doing a write-up on our Trevor. 

"When I think of Trevor Noah, the first image I see is from his brilliant memoir, Born a Crime, of Trevor’s mother throwing him out of a moving vehicle while he’s asleep in order to save his life. Through other eyes, this could be remembered as traumatic and harrowing. Through Trevor’s it is bonding and hilarious, a testament to the love of someone who truly had to think on their feet," she said.

The comedian has been having quite the year with his memoir 'Born a Crime' being turned into a movie and the launch of the Trevor Noah foundation which aims to equip orphans and vulnerable youth with the skills and social capital to pursue post-matric opportunities.
