Local rapper AKA has landed in "hot water" after stating that if the Johannesburg water leakage happened during the ANC years that the Twitterverse would've been very angry.

AKA initailly tweeted a picture of a bottle of water and then followed it with a tweet stating: "Went to Woolies in Bryanston today. Water sold out ... can you imagine what these TL's would have looked like if we still ran JHB... they must be livid."

The "Caiphus Song" rapper has never shied away from sharing his political views on Twitter, with Black Twitter having dragged him mutiple times before for bringing politics into situation that were not necessary.

This time around was no different with numerous tweeples reading AKA for filth for his comment.

it's nothing political. it's just pipe maintenance. that's it.
