'Long Island Medium' star Theresa and her husband Larry Caputo have separated after 28 years of marriage.
Though the Caputos did not give reasons for their divorce, the duo remain “united” in a statement published on Sunday.
In a joint statement to PEOPLE, the Long Island Medium stars said, “After 28 years of marriage, we have decided to legally separate. We will always love each other and our two wonderful children. We are united in supporting each other and our family. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
The couple who tied the knot in 1989, have two children, Victoria and Larry Jr.
In a statement shared on E! News just a few weeks ago, Theresa, revealed that they their relationship was going through a rough time.
"Since the last season of Long Island Medium and through a period of time, Larry and I's relationship has changed. We've been there for each other, you know, through thick and thin, you know, good times, and right now are not such great times," she shared during a meal with one of her closest girlfriends. "I don't understand it. I lay in bed, and I say to myself, 'How did this happen? How did I get here?'"
The show that airs on TLC follows Theresa who is a medium, help people connect with their loved ones who have passed on.
