Living wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is also a world-class liar, says his one-time best friend Todd Clem.
According to the Daily Mail, radio show host Clem – also known as Bubba The Love Sponge – claims Hogan knew all along that he was being filmed when he had sex with Clem’s wife. Hogan has filed a $100-million lawsuit against Clem and his now ex-wife Heather for secretly filming him and leaking the sex tape.
Clem went for the jugular on his radio show yesterday, claiming Hogan was “the ultimate, lying, showman” and was trying to play the victim.
“At the end of the day, I can't even comment on the validity ... [Hogan] could have had something to do with the leak of it,” TMZ reported Clem as saying.
“He's a one-way piece of c**p who doesn't care about anyone but himself. You're the ultimate, lying showman.”
In his suit against Clem, his ex-wife and Gawker Media, who posted excerpts from the sextape, Hogan claims that the video caused him “severe and irreparable injury which cannot be adequately compensated by monetary damages”.
Since the tape surfaced, Hogan has publicly admitted that he slept with Heather Clem while he was still married to his ex-wife Linda. Hogan was also the best man at Clem’’s wedding, and is the godfather to his child.
