The kwaito hitmaker's legacy will be honoured by his holdings through the release of two songs 'Back for More' and 'Mandoza Tshabalala' as well as a clothing collaboration with Magents.

Mduduzi 'Mandoza' Tshabalala died in 2016 after a battle with Cancer. The star began treatment in 2015.

According to a statement released by the Mandoza Holdings, the group wants to release the singles and merchandise to mark the star's birthday.

The statement read:  "January 17 2018 marks the birthdate of Mandoza who would be turning 40 years old. We would like to celebrate his birthday with the launch of digital single "Back for More" and the launch of his clothing range in partnership with Magents Clothing".

The single will be produced by Gabi Le Roux, the producer who also worked on Nkalakatha and other Mandoza hits. The two songs are the last pieces of work that the 50/50 hitmaker worked on before his untimely death.

The second song titled "Mandoza Tshabalala" features musician Pascal, who also hails from Zola in Soweto. Pascal was also one of the performers at Mandoza's funeral.

The statement further explained Pascal's involvement as: ''Pascal is a rehabilitated criminal from Zola, who now lives in East London who had worked with Mandoza prior to his death. He is passionate on expanding Mandoza’s Legacy and keeping his brand alive in the hearts of many."

And the clothing deal:

"The Mandoza Estate has also partnered with Magents, a prominent South African clothing company with stores across the country for manufacture and distribution of clothing. The T-shirts are a sample of what  is to come as we develop the full clothing range for release next year"
