Katy Perry claims she pulled away from a kiss from Miley Cyrus because she didn’t know where that tongue had been.
According to the Daily Mail, Perry revealed all during an interview on the Australian TV program Sunrise.
“I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do, and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away,” said the “I Kissed a Girl” singer.
“God knows where that tongue has been. We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!”
Perry was appearing on the show to promote her Prismatic tour.
However, the Roar singer couldn’t avoid questions about her private life. One fan called in to ask if the singer had a boyfriend.
“All of my fans are my boyfriend,” said Perry, keen to move the conversation away from her rumoured split with John Mayer.
Meanwhile, Mayer was on a US radio station praising Perry’s work ethic.
"She's extremely driven and extremely serious about doing great work," he said.
The pair reportedly split because Perry felt Mayer was not keeping his promises.
A source said: "The last time they broke up John won her back by making a ton of promises. He was going to put her first, but now he's falling back into his old patterns.
"Like, he shuts off his phone and disappears all day and night - he says it's because he needs alone time, but it's sketchy for sure."
Mayer certainly hasn’’t wasted any time getting over the “Roar” singer. He was spotted with a mystery woman in Hollywood over the weekend.
