Amala goes Hindu and Christian route

Amala Paul and director Vijay will be getting engaged in a church. However, they will tie the knot in Chennai as per the Hindu custom.

The families of the couple have reportedly decided to follow both Hindu and Christian customs.

So Paul and Vijay will first exchange rings in St Jude Church, Choondi, on June 7, followed by a Hindu marriage on June 12 in Chennai.

While the engagement is restricted to their immediate family and close friends, the marriage will be attended by the Telugu and Tamil film industries. Reports say the couple will be throwing a party for their friends in the Malayalam film industry at CIAL Convention Centre, Nedumbassery.

Director Vijay and Paul got to know each other when they worked together on Deiva Thirumagal.

After dating for more than two years, the couple have finally decided to settle down. –Oneindia.in
