Fans of Soundarya Rajinikanth and Simbu were caught in a war of words after the young director made a comment on a TV show. Timely intervention by the Kochadaiiyaan creator and Simbu resolved the issue.
The trouble began on Koffee with DD, when Rajinikanth was asked what question she would most like to ask Simbu if she were a journalist. She replied that she would ask Simbu to shut up and stop signing for films.
She says she intended this as a light-hearted comment. But Simbu’s fans took offence and believed she was settling the score with the actor, also known as STR, for his comment about the quality of Kochadaiiyaan.
