Yesterday evening the premier for a brand spanking new local film Catching Feelings that's starring Kagiso Lediga,  Pearl Thusi, Andrew Buckland,  Akin Omotoso and Precious Makgaretsa took place at the iconic Market Theatre.

Catching Feelings tells the story of a suburban Joburg based couple who after the introduction of an elderly writer into their lives are forced to face the challenges head on of trust, relationships, race and balancing their professional lives while everything else seems to fall apart around them.

The film is partly written and directed by Lediga, and produced by local film company Diprente, which was also responsible for local comedy flick Blitz Patrolie. Award winning director Zandi Tisani also makes an appearance in the movie-and she's good.

We spotted at the star studded premier the stars of the film as well as  local comedy giants Loyiso Gola, Celeste Ntuli, Chris Forrest, David Kau,  Ebenhaezer Dibakwane, Zandi Tisani (who also star in the film) as well as local personalities Nambitha Mpumlwana and Tango Ncetezo to name a few.

Here are some of the looks from the premier:
