Terry Pheto's new movie 'FACES' to premiere at #DIFFest

International award-winning SA-born actress Terry Pheto takes the lead in the new international feature film, "FACES".

"FACES" is a multi-narrative film that follows a group of characters as their lives begin to unravel. 

The film comprises of four relatable storylines: a stale marriage and hopes that a pregnancy will change things for the better; a gay couple that falls apart after infidelity; friends who've drifted apart; and a young woman with financial troubles.

The film is shot which is shot in London, will have its exclusive world premiere in South Africa at the 39th Durban International Film Festival (DIFF) on Sunday, July 22.

Taking to social media, Pheto expressed her excited for the film premiere.

Commenting on the film's world premiere and starring in the film, Pheto said: “It’s always great to work with incredible actors and talented filmmakers from all parts of the world. 

"I don’t take it for granted what a privilege it is to grow my global footprint which such amazing storytellers. "FACES" is a movie that addresses universal issues that will resonate with all."

"Having the FACES world premiere in my home turf is truly special," Pheto added.

Since Pheto's debut on the award film "Tsotsi" in 2005, the actress had starred in "Goodbye Bafana," "Catch a Fire," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "A United Kingdom" and the Madiba TV series.
