“I have always been about love, right from the onset and just as well because love is a timeless topic to sing about,” Ntando says.
Ntando will be serenating all the “lovers of love” at the Evening of love concert together with ‘Nomvula’ hitmaker Nathi and ‘Thandiwe’ singer Vusi Nova. The three have played together before and Ntando says it is going to be magical when they take the stage together on February 14, which is Valentine’s day.
“It is a celebration of love and beautiful music,” the artist says. Ntando’s seventh album is going to be a wonderful surprise. The album will have reggae elements but will stay true to afro pop love songs, which is what his audience has come to love about him. He will be pushing singles from his album and some never heard-before songs.

He says that his fans have already started sending in requests for songs he should perform. “There is no point to what we do without the people who buy our music, learn the lyrics to our songs and support our concerts, so whatever they ask of me, they will receive and more,” Ntando concludes.
The concert will be held at Wanderers Club, Illovo, on February 14 with tickets ranging from R250 t0 R950. The tickets are available at Computickets.
