Babyface is coming to South Africa.

Though, on the surface, it appears that though the multi-award winning R&B artist’s career has run it’s course, local fans will no doubt appreciate the opportunity to see the man peform firm favourites in the flesh.

The third recipient of the BET Walk of Fame award (the two previous inductees were Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston), Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds is a true giant in his genre with 10 Grammy Awards and numerous other honours.

Over the course of 11 solo albums, Babyface has racked up 51 Top Ten pop hits, with 16 No 1 hits.

His albums and singles have sold over 500-million units worldwide off the strength of songs like “How Come, How Long”, “Everythime I Close My Eyes” and “Never Keeping Secrets”.

In 2011, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Babyface will perform a once-off concert at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg on May 4. Tickets Available at Computicket – www.computicket.com
