The visuals for the video involve an African aesthetic with enchanted visuals, which had both musicians appearing in the video.

The music video for the hit song (from the Black Panther soundtrack) had almost 30 million views after two weeks on Youtube, after being released earlier this month.

It has now been revealed that British-Liberian artist, Lina Iris Viktor has sued the musicians, citing copyright violations. Viktor claims that the music video features visuals from her 'Constellations' artwork without her authentication. She also claims that her and her lawyers have been unable to contact Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith.

If Viktor's lawsuit is successful, Kendrick Lamar would be prevented from using any of Lina Viktor's 'Constellations' artwork in the promotion of the song or any other of Viktor's artwork , and he would also have to pay damages to Lina Viktor.
