The first episode of Nicki Minaj’s “Queen Radio” premiered on Thursday night on Apple Music’s Beats 1.

As promised, the episode featured a surprise — Nicki’s new album "Queen" is coming on Friday.

#QueenRadio begins tomorrow @applemusic! The new dynasty begins on @beats1official tomorrow at 7pm PT/10pm ET. AND I might have something special for you too! 😘👑🤭. Use the hashtag #QueenRadio between now & then. I’ll be conducting a live Q&A portion of my very first show. pic.twitter.com/iNcfkB2vrR

Speaking on Queen Radio, Minaj said: “I was gonna play the album right now but someone f***ed up,” she said. “It's a lot of corporate drama in here.”

Earlier in the show, she revealed that she had finished the record three hours before she jumped on the air.

Nicki Minaj is seen arguing with her management on the phone about the release time of her album via Winnie Harlow’s story:

‘I don’t wanna wait ‘till nine. I want [the release] now’

Nicki needs to get off the air and sort this out in private because this is SO messy.

I love Nicki so much but I know she’s so embarrassed tonight. She’s trying to keep her head up for her fans but I know she’s livid. I love Nicki, she’s doing a good job. Keep it up QUEEN! #QueenRadio

I got mad that Nicki didn’t give us the album tonight so I ate ice cream out of anger and now my stomach is aching because I’m lactose intolerant 💀

Earlier this year, Nicki said that Queen would arrive on 15 June. She later delayed it to August 10 and pushed it back again to August 17. "Queen" includes her singles “Rich Sex” (featuring Lil Wayne), “Bed” (featuring Ariana Grande), and “Chun-Li.”
