This week, Erykah Badu appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk. It’s an intimate concert series that takes place in a library full of books, vinyls and other music paraphernalia. It gives artists from various genres a chance to tailor-make even some of their biggest, stadium-status hits an acoustic feel in front of a few people.

The Erykah Tiny Desk was beautiful. But is it the best one yet? We have drawn up three serious contenders:

Jessie Ware

The singer-songwriter took time out of her tour to perform a few songs. She even brought Jesse Boykins III to help her with some of the songs.

T-Pain

Can he really sing without the autotune? Real fans know the answer is yes but with his Tiny Desk, he proved it to the world.

Lalah Hathaway

Jazz, soul music, heck, Lalah’s voice is so incredible she doesn’t have to conform to a genre. Her NPR is so sublime, you want to play it again and again.
