Nakhane, Sho Madjozi and Manthe Ribane are set to take the stage at Afropunk Brooklyn, New York, in August.
The local artists are will be flying the SA flag high as they head to the birthplace of the afrofuturistic music festival. The big announcement was made Tuesday night on the official Afropunk Twitter page.

Nakhane and Sho Madjozi both shared their excitement on Twitter with Nakhane also performing at Afropunk Paris, France in July.

The local performers will be sharing the stage with international stars such as Erykah Baduh, Willow and Jaden Smith, Janelle Monáe, Tyler the Creator and Miguel.
This music fest came to Johannesburg last year, where Solange was set to headline the New Year's Eve event, but had to withdraw from the festival due to medical complications.
