Jason Mraz married his girlfriend Christina Carano in Virginia yesterday surrounded by their close friends and family members.

Jason Mraz got married yesterday .

The 'I'm Yours' hitmaker, 38, tied the knot with his beautiful girlfriend Christina Carano in a stunning outdoor ceremony in the Virginia Forest at the The Polegreen Church in front of 50 close friends and family members, according to E! News.

The singer was overcome with emotion as he watched his partner walk down the aisle in a long-sleeved white lace high-collar figure-hugging gown with a sheer train attached.

And once the picturesque nuptials were over, Jason couldn't resist sharing the exciting news with his fans as he announced he had become “the luckiest man in the world.”

The couple, who met in 2007 at a coffee shop in California, began dating in 2011 but vowed not to get married until gay marriage was made legal across the United States.

He said: “We can't get married until [gay] marriage is legal and equal... I think giving people the right to marry will be a huge movement in civil rights.”

And the handsome star certainly stayed true to his word as same-sex marriage was made legal in the US on June 26.

Meanwhile, Jason was previously engaged to his friend Tristan Prettyman, but the romance was short-lived as the pair went their separate ways just six months later.
