GIG OF THE WEEK: SA Big 5
Wavehouse, tomorrow
The Rocking bands in South Africa right now, namely Just Jinjer, Jax Panik, Flash Republic, Aking and The December Streets, take over Wavehouse tomorrow.
After the success of last year’s SA Big 5 event, with almost 5 000 people in attendance, it’s bound to be bigger and better this year.
Six Sama nominations down the line, Prime Circle are still making the circle bigger as they will headline the event. Joining the melodic rock band will be aKING, the enigmatic Jax Panik, The December Streets, who have captured our attention with their eclectic rhythms and smooth crooning, and Flash Republic.
Contemporary rock group Just Jinjer continue to woo music lovers’ hearts with hits such as Milk and Honies.
SA Big 5 takes place tomorrow at Gateway’s Wavehouse and tickets are available through Computicket, Shoprite, Checkers and Wavehouse from R150 and R300 for VIP, R200 at the door. VIP tickets limited to 400 guests only.
