Bobby van Jaarsveld undergoes throat surgery

Afrikaner singer Bobby van Jaarsveld has taken a musical sabbatical to undergo several procedures on his vocal cords.

Earlier this month, 'The Voice SA' judge revealed to Jacaranda FM's Martin Bester and Tumi Morake that he will be undergoing an operation on his throat.

He explained that the procedure is to treat his vocal cords, and forms part of a number of treatments that he is currently undergoing.

Bobby took to social media this week to share pre and post-op pictures with his fans. In one post he wrote: "All wil be OK in the end, if it's not Ok it's not the end...
