Following her collaboration with Nasty C at the Migos Culture Tour in Johannesburg on Saturday, TV personality Boity Thulo has revealed that she is excited to pursue a music career.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE,
the former Club 808 presenter revealed that rapping with Nasty C earlier in the year sparked her interest in tapping into the music industry.
"It was really after our fun rap on Club 808 that I decided to try it and just have fun in studio. Nasty C invited me to do a song with him and it was the perfect opportunity. I jumped at the chance," she stated.
Boity made her debut on stage at the Migos Culure Tour
in Johannesburg when Nasy C suprised the crowd with their upcomming track, 'Half'.
Taking about her writing process Boity admitted that the "Hell Naw" rapper helped her pen her verse in the song.
"It was my first time recording a track so I was nervous and I did my best to write as much as possible. I wrote what I could. Nasty sat with me and tweaked it and then showed me how to approach it. It was a great experience."
Nasty C and Boity are set to release 'Half' later this year.
