Last year, Francois van Coke released his second solo album, Hierdie is die Lewe. He continued to perform and collaborate with other people. But now, he’s back with an EP and has roped in some of his friends to return the favour.

The four-track EP, which Francois will perform in Pretoria on September 15, features Jack Parow, Early B, Die Heuwels Fantasties and Laudo Liebenberg. On the show as well as the EP, Francois said: “All four of these collaborating artists are part of the ‘Francois van Coke & Vriende’ production. I wanted to release new music this year before my third full length album drops in 2019.”
“After everything came together for the show in Pretoria, it felt like a great idea to write music with some of these ‘vriende’. With the help of Red Bull Studios Cape Town and Jägermeister we were able to pull off a great sounding EP.”
