Following the recent speculation that the controversial record label Mabala Noise is shutting down, Nasty C has confirmed that he has left the label and has joined Universal Music.
Nasty C and Mabala Noise quietly split
Taking to Twitter, the 'Hell Naw' hitmaker wrote:

In response Nasty C's tweet, Mabala Noise released a statement on their official social media platform, stating:
"After much speculation, Young rapper Nasty C has confirmed that he has joined one of the biggest music companies, Universal Music Africa for distribution.
"Nasty C further mentioned that he will bring up Mr Nkabinde when he receives his Grammy Award and asked me him to continue supporting young hopefuls like him.
The statement further stated that "Nasty C should also inspire the upcoming artists to aim high and continue opening doors for their future endeavors."
Universal Music Africa welcomed the young rapper.
