The sun came out to play as we went steaming through the second day of the festival in the bush, OppiKoppi. Held annually in Northam Limpopo, the festival this year took place from Thursday, August 9, and will end on Saturday, August 11.
This year's featured tribute artist is the legendary Oliver Mutukudzi, who will be wowing music lovers on Saturday evening. Other acts to look out for include Kwesta, Fokofpolisiekar and DBN Gogo.
Friday was just as much of a "lituation-situation" with acts such as BamBam Brown who survived car troubles and still made it in time to give the people what they want.
Them Dirty Shrikes also rocked out on the Bruilof stage during the day. In the evening, festival attendees were spoilt for choice with acts such as Urban Village, Radio 123, Sho Madjozi and CrashCarBurn all treating music lovers to one dope show after the next.
