Local muso Sjava received a nod in this year's BET Viewer's Choice 'Best International Act' category.
Sjava, real name Jabulani Hadebe has been nominated alongside Nigeria's Niniola and Kwesi Arthur of Ghana.
Local rapper Cassper Nyovest and Gqom kings Distruction Boyz will also represent South Africa at this year's BET Awards following an announcement in May that the local stars have been nominated for Best International Act category.

The BET Awards 2018 will be taking place at Microsoft Theater on Sunday, June 24, and premiering across Africa on BET (DStv channel 129) on Tuesday, June 26 at 8pm.
