Sometimes in the music industry, talented people wind up being the bridesmaid but never the braid. But today, a marriage of minds was announced: Tellaman has officially signed to the Universal Music Group.

The singer who started writing music at just 15 years old has since made a name for himself as the voice on some of your favourite hooks. He has worked with Nasty C, Cuebar, Johnny Miller and others. While Thelumusa Owen - as his parents named him - is now known for his trap vocal stylings, he actually had a pretty great run in the house music scene as well.

It will be interesting to see which direction he takes for his new music with Universal. About inking his deal, Tellaman said: “I’m excited to let my fans know that after four years, I have finally agreed to be part the UMG family! Thanks to UMG for being patient with me, I’m so excited to see what we going to do together!”
