The announcement of Chance the Rapper as the headliner for this year's Castle Lite Unlocks concert as left skrr skrr fans scratching their heads.
Last night, Castle Lite Unlocks unveiled that Chance the Rapper will be heading the hip hop centric concert on April 30 at the TicketPro Dome.
You would think to have another Grammy award-winning artist visit our shores would be met with huge excitement and applause.
However, trap music lovers came out in droves on Twitter complaining that the "All We Got" rapper's music is not the right fit for the concert.
Migos Culture Tour last year, when the "Powerpuff Girls" performed for thirty minutes, came late and gave fans an overall disappointing experience. Chance on the other hand is known for giving great production and respecting his fans' time and money.
Skrr skrr kids won’t go to #CastleLiteUnlocks Chance. No washed out vans and fanny packs at the concert
I see the skrr skrr crowd is really mad about Chance coming to SA. Someone who uses coherent sentences. Pronounces words clearly. Gives production. Can perform live. And makes actual music. Y'all have weird standards. #CastleLiteUnlocks pic.twitter.com/E1yEKYL1T8
