WATCH: Steve Hofmeyr stops traffic to film music video

Controversial Afrikaans singer, Steve Hofmeyr caused quite the ruckus while filming the music video for his new song ‘Feeslied’ during peak traffic. 

The 'Pampoen' singer headed to the streets of Sefako Makgatho Drive in Sinoville where he filmed a flashmob for his new music video on Tuesday.

Later that day, Hofmeyr uploaded the music video to his Facebook page where fans could watch how it all went down. 

In the video Hofmeyr said in Afrikaans that they are about to film the video for his new song and people will most likely complain. 

He jumped out of his car and onto the back of his truck where he then performed his song. 

At the end of the video, metro police officers are seen ordering Hofmeyr down from the back of his truck and he is taken away in handcuffs. 

After the video Hofmeyr thanked his fans for watching the video.
