Award-winning musician, Zonke recently released her new album. Called L.O.V.E, the title stands for Living Out Various Emotions, and throughout the album, she takes the listener through said various emotions.
"Tonight" is the lead single from the album and Zonke has just revealed the visuals to the infectious track. Zonke wants you to make sure you stay present in every moment of your life.
In the video, she wishes upon a shooting star and Mr Perfect is suddenly at her door. “We don’t have much time,” he tells her. “So what do you want to do?” And that, right there, is the point of the song.
Everyone is living on borrowed time but people are content to put things off. So if you knew you only had tonight, what would you do? Mr Perfect cooks her supper in her beautiful apartment. They take a romantic stroll and a whole lot more happens.
In general, the video is a feel-good reminder that “we’ve got only tonight.” And hopefully, it encourages people to do more than shoot their shot.
