Tonight BET pays homage to legend, and hit maker, the late Robbie Malinga.
The tribute show will go down memory lane to his humble beginnings and celebrate his rise to the top of his game.
Known for his top charting collaborations with Kelly Khumalo, Zahara and Musa, Malinga was also a great producer who contributed in shaping careers of artists like Kabelo Mabalane, Ntando, Nhlanhla Nciza and Arthur Mafokate among others.
The tribute show will feature interviews with friends and industry peers such as Zahara, Sbu Leope, Naima Kay and Doc Shebeleza as well as music videos of his smash hits.
Legendary SA musician Robbie Malinga has died
Malinga revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with anaemia and had been battling the disease until he finally succumbed to it on December 25.
The family revealed later that the music icon suffered from pancreatic cancer. He was laid to rest at West Park Cemetery on January 2.
